Bodkin Showing @ NY Fashion Week- 16 February

New York City’s very own Bodkin will show their Fall ’09 line at NY’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (today!). Bodkin is a sustainable label created by Eviana Hartman that uses organic cotton, peace silk and wool fibers as well as some very unique recycled materials like PET nylon. They won the first ever Ecco Domani 2009 Award for Sustainable Design. Congratulations! The Bodkin style is classic and structured, yet simple and of course sustainable or in Hartman’s words, “sexy with a sense of humor”. The show invite is already getting top reviews, so we can’t wait to see the Fall line. More Bodkin coming soon!
